Rinse is a shower timer and habit tracker. We built it to help you take better showers — not to collect your data. This policy explains what we do and don't do with your information.
Data stored on your device only:
This data is stored locally using on-device storage (SQLite). We do not transmit your shower data to any server.
Rinse uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. When you subscribe, Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous subscriber ID to verify your entitlement. We never see or store your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information.
Subscription plans: $1.99/month or $9.99/year with a 7-day free trial. You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings.
Rinse does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes. We do not build user profiles or share data with advertisers.
Rinse Radio streams music from curated internet radio stations. When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station's streaming URL. We do not log which stations you listen to.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only external service that receives any data is RevenueCat, limited to anonymous subscription status verification.
All app data is stored on your device. Deleting the Rinse app removes all local data. To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Rinse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Rinse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
